I am interested in living in a circular or dome shaped home. I like the idea of not living in a box. I researched the concept and found that there were companies that constructed geodesic and dome homes. The problem came when trying to figure out if a city or county would permit the building of a non-traditional home.

Have you seen stories such as April Ryan's petty questions suggesting White House Social Secretary Desiree Roger seeks to upstage Michelle Obama? How about the persistent gossip rag rumors that the First Lady and Oprah are feuding? Do you remember the campaign commentary that blamed women's distrust of women for why Hillary Clinton or Sarah Palin couldn't win?

Last week, I created an iPhone app out of my blog in ten minutes at a cost of $50 using a service call AppMkr.  It made wonder when we'll start to see more iPhone apps from and to benefit nonprofits.

Before diving into 2010 I wanted to stop and review the lessons you and I learned here at BlogHer in 2009.

It can. Are you looking for a way for Twitter to locate mutual friends or people who know people you know? I love this feature on Facebook and often find BlogHers or long-lost classmates based on the application's suggestions as to people I may know because they know people I know. People who know people. Or some such. Now there is a Firefox add-on that will help you locate mutual friends you may share with the people you follow on Twitter. (Yeah, sorry, it only works in Firefox right now.) It's not exactly like what happens on Facebook, but it can be helpful.

What's an hCard, you ask? It's a digital version of a business card. You put it on your blog or website and it provides your name, your contact information and other information you want people to know. Because it's digital, it can be exported from your web page to an address book and synched to a mobile phone. Google and Yahoo! both index information in hCards, so it gives you some search engine clout as well as providing portable contact information to your blog's users.

Let's face it. Advice is a dime a dozen. If you ask two people their opinion you'll get at least three or four different answers. Every corner you turn in your office, in your business stands someone who wants to tell you what they think you should do. So, how do you know who you should listen to?

The L Word ended on Showtime in March. For people like me who don't have Showtime, the final season is just now coming out on DVD. We are finally getting to see season 6 and watch how the series ended.
